My name is Rob Porter I am the owner and realtor of Re/Max St. Stephen. I am a life long resident of the St. Stephen area, born and raised here I have watched this community grow over the years and am proud to be part of it. I am a member of the Chamber of Commerce and the St. Stephen Business In Action group. I also am President and Head Coach of the Charlotte County Amateur Boxing Club, a husband and father of 3. I met my wife Laura at UNB we had three children, our daughters Lyndsay and Erin and our son Alex. Laura works in the community as a Lawyer with Clark Drummie, my two daughters attend SSHS and my son Milltown Elementary .

I graduated from St. Stephen High School in 1986 then set out for my post secondary education at UNB Fredericton where I graduated with my bachelors degree in 1990. I then worked at Jobs Unlimited in Fredericton as a vocational counselor for mentally challenged adults for 2 years before accepting a position with a division of the Canadian Mental Health Association for 3 more years. It was then time in 1995 to try my hand at the teaching profession, I accepted a teaching position at Woodland High School in nearby Baileyville ME and stayed there for the next 11 years. During my stay at WHS I accepted head coaching positions with the Varsity Wrestling and Varsity Baseball programs,I coached 3 Eastern Maine Champion wrestlers and 2 State Runners Up. I was selected for the Job's for America's Graduates President's award for 3 consecutive years and was voted as a member of the Who's Who Among America's Teachers in the year 2000. I Started my new career with Re/Max in April 2005 I reigned from my position at WHS In June 2006 to focus full time on my Real Estate business. I will have sold in the area of 4 million dollars of Real Estate in 2006, my first full year. I feel my background helps me in understanding the various needs of people and how to treat them in an honest ethical fashion worthy of their trust. I do not consider myself a salesmen but a Real Estate Professional who's duty it is to look out for your best interest and have both vendor and purchaser feel satisfied with the transaction at it's conclusion. Professional integrity is an important hallmark of Re/Max St. Stephen and I will not allow it to be compromised. My office is located in the hub of activity on 36 Milltown Blvd. next door to the Town office, near the major banks and law offices, overlooking the historic St. Croix River.
